On the fourth day of the winter session of the Jharkhand Assembly, Opposition MLAs gathered for a robust demonstration outside the House, addressing various pressing issues such as corruption, planning policies, women atrocities, and the suspension of MLAs. Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri voiced concerns, stating that the government appears to be faltering on multiple fronts. However, he accused the Speaker of showing favoritism when addressing public-related matters inside the House, leading to the suspension of MLAs.
Suspended MLA JP Patel condemned the government's alleged dictatorial attitude, emphasizing that raising issues pertinent to the public results in punitive measures rather than constructive dialogue. The demonstration highlighted a growing dissatisfaction with the functioning of the government and the perceived bias within the Assembly.
